About Us

Ron Trimyer  grew up in Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia before completing his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech. Twenty years ago, he moved to North Carolina to attend Campbell Law School. Ron was initially mentored by Attorneys George Mast & Brad Schulz when he began work at Mast Law Firm. After graduating from cum laude in 2006, he became an associate with the firm. To gain a broad experience, he initially oversaw a broad spectrum of cases including criminal, domestic, disability, injury, and other matters. In 2009 Ron became a Partner with the firm and until 2024 when he went on his own to open his own office 18 years later.

Over the years he has trimmed his practice back to areas that he enjoys most.

The primary areas that he assists families today include:

1) Wills, Estates, Probate & Guardianships;

2) Automobile accidents and other injuries due to the fault of another;

3) Prenuptial / Separation Agreements & Simple Divorces; and

4) General civil disputes, such as neighbor issues.

Ron detests bullies: whether that be a slack insurance adjuster, a threatening neighbor/HOA, a jack-leg contractor, or anybody that hurts a pet. He has been successful handling frivolous cases by arrogant neighbors and the alike. Ron also currently represents a large chain of automobile dealerships in the Southeast US.

Ron has been involved in several jury trials, both at the District and Superior Court level and has successfully managed several appeals. He will be upfront and realistic about the potential outcome as well as the costs of engaging in litigation. He will listen, analyze your situation, and give you your options. In the event Ron is unable to assist you with your matter, he should be able to refer you to a colleague. Additionally, outside of the legal field, Ron has built numerous relationships with experts that may be able to help you, whether you’re in need of a trusted general contractor, plumber, electrician, painter, plumber, HVAC tech, etc.

On a personal note, Ron has been fortunate enough to marry Casey whom he knew for years prior to her coming to work with him. Casey is not only Ron’s wife but also his paralegal; she is his and his clients’ biggest asset.

Ron and Casey recently celebrated the birth of their first child together. In addition to “Baby Trey”, Ron has three (3) bonus children Aubrey, Noel, and Giovani; and a zoo of pets. They have recently completed a renovation of their new home. When Ron is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to their place at Indian Beach, attending the children’s sporting events, observing college games and cooking for his family.

Casey Trimyer is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal, who earned her Associates in Applied Science degree, with a concentration in Paralegal Technology; and has also received a General Law Office Certificate.

Originally from New Jersey, Casey and her family moved to Johnston County in 2004. Casey worked at a law firm in Wake County for many years that focused primarily on criminal and family law. In 2019, she moved back to Johnston County where she began working with Ron Trimyer.

In 2021, she began dedicating some of her time to the North Carolina Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program in Johnston and Harnett County where she volunteers to serve abused and neglected children by advocating for their best interests in Court.

Casey primarily supports Ron Trimyer in his estate and personal injury practices. Not only does she help with the day-to-day caseload and functioning of the office, but she also ensures that our office provides optimal service to our clients. Without such an exceptional paralegal we would never be able to provide such top-notch representation.

Ron and Casey tied the knot in 2021. Casey has four children Noel, Aubrey, Giovani and Ronnie, III “Trey”. When she is not working you can find her spending time with Ron and their children, reading James Patterson novels, and when the weather is right, hiking or at the beach.
